GW Performance Horses specializes in producing high-energy western events that combine elite competition, professional production, and an unforgettable competitor experience. From large-scale barrel races and charity events to youth-focused competitions and special productions, our events are designed to support the continued growth of western sports while creating opportunities for riders, businesses, sponsors, and communities alike.
Known for events such as the Foothills Barrel Classic, Cowgirls With A Cause, and the Foothills Spring Soirée, GW Performance Horses focuses on creating organized, welcoming, and professionally managed events that prioritize safety, fairness, atmosphere, and community involvement.

Boarding & Mare Care
Premium
​ Board
Our Premium Board program is designed for owners looking for a higher level of individualized care and convenience. This option includes stall boarding, quality hay, daily feeding, turnout when applicable, and owner-provided or customized feeding programs tailored to the horse’s individual needs. Premium board is ideal for performance horses, horses in training, or owners wanting a more hands-on management approach. Includes : Alfalfa, Supplements, Indoor & Outdoor Stall, Private or Herd Turnout. Fly, Weather, or Turnout Sheets.
Full Board
Full Board includes stall boarding with daily feeding, quality hay, fresh water, and general daily care in a structured and professional environment. This option is designed for owners who want dependable day-to-day care while maintaining a comfortable and safe setting for their horses. Includes: Indoor Stall, Twice Daily Feeding, Private or Herd Turnout.
Pasture Board
Our Pasture Board option provides horses with a more natural herd-style environment while still receiving consistent daily care and monitoring. Horses have access to pasture turnout, hay as needed, fresh water, and routine oversight to ensure their health and well-being. This option is well-suited for retired horses, young horses, or horses that thrive in a pasture setting. Stall Add-on available for Weather & Injury
Mare Care &
Foaling
GW Performance Horses also offers specialized mare and foal care focused on safety, attentive monitoring, and a low-stress environment during one of the most important stages of a horse’s life. We understand the unique needs that come with broodmares and foals and strive to provide a clean, quiet, and supportive setting for both mare and baby.
Training & Tune ups
We offer tune ups for Western Performance Horses, English Performance Horses, & Pleasure/Trail Horses.

Teaching horses how to collect, carry themselves, ride behind or on the bit. From basics to performance.
Colt/Filly Starting
The most important thing to have is a good colt starter. To me, babies are the most rewarding. However they can take some time, so you have to be willing to put the time into them.

Clinics
I was fortunate enough to ride under some of the greatest in the barrel racing industry. Martha Josey, Lynn McKenzie, Boo Flourney - In those years I learned how to ride and run lots of styles of horses.

I have 20+ years experience in the western performance world. To me, western equine sports are more than just about winning. - It is about becoming a better horseman/woman every time you saddle up or enter the arena.

In my clinics, I like to really focus on drills, using your body, moving your horse's body, teaching collection, and equitation.
